Tales of a Blue Heart is an album about melancholy, a feeling with different appearances. Melancholy as 'a feeling blue', a sense of sadness or insecurity in a world full of incurtainties. But also melancholy as longing for the past. That warm feeling of gratefulness for good memories and the desire to carry them with you into the future.
